Is Gordon Gone?

21 Oct

Wrong, right from the start.

In the lecture theatre of City University London, a debate raged last night about the fate of Gordon Brown.

Pippa Crerar, a political correspondent said: “Gordon Brown has to prove his party is behind him to stand a chance.”

Gordon Brown’s decision to enforce Sir Legg’s audit has split the Labour Party, leaving him isolated him from Labour MPs.

Samuel Coates, political correspondent for The Times agrees: “Brown is losing control.

“Gordon Brown is the problem, but getting rid of him will also be a problem.”

Labour backbenchers are attempting to seize control of the Parliamentary Labour Party, after a failed attempt to oust him in June.

Crerar said: “Gordon Brown is beyond his political shelf life. Only if Labour presents a team will they win. If the election is about Brown, they’re slaughtered!”
